The process
Three small things from you. The rest is ours.
01
The type of care, where you'll be staying, and your travel dates. No medical knowledge required.
02
From local practices to university hospital screening centres — each reviewed before it reaches you.
03
Choose the dates that suit your trip, and the language you'd like to be seen in.
04
We coordinate with the provider, keep you posted in English, and help you collect your records afterwards.
Appointment confirmation depends on the provider's availability and reply. We follow up until your request is answered, and you'll see the status change as soon as it does.
What you get
Before a provider appears on KRACE, we review key information about the organisation and its support for international patients. KRACE is registered with KHIDI, Korea's government health industry agency, to coordinate care for international patients.
Provider information, booking updates, and clinic communication are provided in English. Where you'd rather be seen in another language, interpretation can be arranged when requested.
We help you request and collect documents the provider can issue — test results, prescriptions, visit summaries — to share with your doctor back home.
Documents are issued by the provider. Formats, languages, and timing may vary.
Your requests, booking status, appointment details, and provider replies stay in one place instead of scattered emails and chats.
KRACE does not diagnose, recommend treatment, prescribe, or interpret medical results. Medical decisions stay between you and your licensed provider. We coordinate provider discovery, booking, communication, interpretation arrangements, and follow-up logistics.
What a trip can look like
Health screening is one clear example. Korean screening centres can often coordinate bloodwork, imaging, and endoscopy in one visit rather than across several separate appointments.
Back home
Four trips. Four sets of paperwork.
In Korea
One building. One morning.
Typical example only. The tests, order, duration, and result schedule depend on the provider and the programme you choose.
KRACE can help coordinate other appointment requests around your travel dates. When sedation or recovery is involved, follow the provider's instructions and allow appropriate recovery time.
